UPDATE: 3 Injured in Alpine Township Crash

ALPINE TOWNSHIP — A car crash in Alpine Township has sent three people to the hospital, with one patient in critical condition.

It happened in the 5500 block of Fruit Ridge Ave shortly after 3:00 a.m Friday.

The driver of the Ford SUV, a 23-year-old Sparta man, was airlifted to Spectrum Butterworth in downtown Grand Rapids after the accident.

He's listed in critical condition.

His two female passengers, 17 and 19-years-olds, were also injured and taken to the hospital.

Their names have not been released.
