'Freaks & Geeks' Star Makes His 'Bones'
John Francis Daley will appear in at least four episodes

August 22, 2007

John Francis Daley has landed a recurring role on FOX's "Bones."

The 22-year-old actor, best known as one of the stars of NBC's short-lived "Freaks & Geeks," will play a therapist on the FOX procedural, set to kick off its third season on Tuesday, Sept. 25.

Daley will appear in at least four episodes of "Bones," but don't expect any information on which of the show's characters are going to require therapy from the amusingly named "Dr. Sweet" character.

In addition to his all-too-brief run as Sam Weir on "Freaks," Daley's TV credits include "Boston Public," "The Geena Davis Show" and "Kitchen Confidential." Daley was one of the stars of the ABC pilot "The Call" this past development season. Like "Kitchen Confidential" and "Bones," "The Call" was a 20th Century Fox TV production.
