Childhood Disease Prevention
Immunizations are an important part of childhood disease prevention. They protect against illnesses that can cause disability or death.

Immunization Records
Be sure to keep a record of your child's immunizations and bring it to each appointment with your pediatrician. Immunizations are required to start school so be sure they are updated.

Keep A Record
Ask you local health department about free immunizations.

Free Immunizations
Ask you local health department about free immunizations.

Immunization Discomfort
Your child may experience discomfort after their immunizations. To soothe pain, apply a clean, cool washcloth over the sore area. Ask your pediatrician about a fever reducer.

Call Your Pediatrician
If your child has a temperature of more than 105 degrees, is pale or cries more than three hours, call your doctor.
