Car Seat Guidelines
More than seventy percent of car seats are installed incorrectly.
Infants should ride rear-facing until they are one year of age and weigh twenty pounds. Never place an infant's car seat in front of an airbag.
Do not use a car seat that is more than six years old or has been in a crash.
Booster Seats
Booster seats lift children so the seatbelt fits right. Children should ride in a booster seat until they are four feet nine inches tall and weigh eighty pounds. Remember, booster seats reduce the risk of injury and death by sixty percent.
Children under thirteen years of age are safest riding in the back seat.
Read the Instructions
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions when using car seats or booster seats.
